Working conditions and rights of an hourly housekeeper
- The maximum ordinary working day for any domestic helper is 40 hours per week.
- Domestic helpers are entitled to 30 calendar days of vacation per year and must take 14 holidays per year. In the case of hourly domestic helper, vacation days depend on the equivalence of hours worked.

If we compute the annual salary per hour, the rate per hour could not be less than 8.40€. . However, as a general rule, the rate is usually between €10-12 per hour worked.
