A service couple's contract and rights
Each member of the service couple is hired as an individual domestic employee, with a written contract from day one. The maximum working week is 40 hours per person, with weekly rest and holidays.

As these are two live-in employees, the cost starts at around €3,000/month over 12 payments (two salaries above the 2026 SMI) plus Social Security, with accommodation and board included. We prepare a tailored quote based on the property.
