Every family needs a staffing structure suited to its way of life, its priorities and the way its residence runs.
A flat in central Madrid may need someone for cleaning, cooking and ironing, a nanny or a mixed profile. A larger property, in the city or around it, may need a house manager, driver, chef, live-in staff or a team of several professionals. A country estate, one or more domestic couples, or a caretaker experienced with animals and upkeep.
Nor does a home on the coast have the same needs as a property in the mountains, or a young family with small children the same as one at a different stage of life. That is why, before the search begins, we define the professional, experience, availability and way of working that suit each case.

Yes. For large properties we select teams with clearly separate roles: house manager, chef, driver, butler, nanny or governess, live-in staff and domestic couples. We define each role according to the property, the family and the staff already working in the house.
In Madrid, as everywhere in Spain, the family, as the employer, from the first day. We advise on the contract and the registration and, if the family prefers, our in-house employment advisers handle all the paperwork.
Between €1,500 and €2,500 gross a month over 12 payments, plus the Social Security contributions paid by the family: in total, between about €1,835 and €3,060 a month. The final amount depends on experience, duties and the requirements of the role. Work out the total cost with our calculator.
Between €10 and €15 an hour in salary (the 2026 legal minimum is €9.55/h), plus Social Security registration and contributions from the first hour. We select from 15 hours a week: three mornings of 5 hours come to about €785–1,190 a month in total.
Full-time roles start from the 2026 minimum wage (€1,424.50 a month over 12 payments, or €1,221 over 14) and rise with experience, languages and duties: a qualified live-out housekeeper earns €1,424.50–1,800 gross a month. Live-in housekeepers usually earn between €1,500 and €2,500 gross over 12 payments.
