Domestic staff in Barcelona: frequently asked questions
Nothing is paid during the search, whether the home is in Pedralbes or in Sarrià. Only once the person has started and the family is satisfied is a one-off fee paid: one month of the agreed salary, plus VAT, with no subscriptions or lock-in. The guarantee is included: in Barcelona, a free replacement within the first 6 months if the person leaves or doesn't settle in and, if you're not satisfied during the first month, we refund 50% of the fee.
