Yes. In Baqueira and the Val d'Aran we select live-in staff only: housekeepers, chefs, house managers, drivers, nannies, domestic couples and caretakers who live at the chalet or in accommodation provided by the family.
Baqueira, Vielha, Arties, Garós, Salardú, Bagergue and the rest of the valley. In the more remote villages we give particular weight to the employee driving, working independently and being able to coordinate suppliers and maintenance.
It depends on the role, and it is agreed from the outset. While the family is away they may oversee the property, coordinate maintenance and prepare the house for the next arrival. Living at the property does not mean being available at all hours: duties, hours and rest are agreed.

In a larger second home it can work especially well: the couple combines housekeeping and cooking with driving, maintenance, vehicles and grounds, and provides continuity between the season and the months away. We assess both and check their references.
We select remotely and travel when needed; the first profiles arrive in under 3 hours. Nothing is paid during the search: a single fee of one month of the agreed salary plus VAT once the person has started and you are satisfied. If you're not satisfied during the first month, we refund 50% of the fee.
