Kolonaki and central Athens
Live-in staff for town residences
Large flats and town residences, from a single housekeeper to a full team. With a villa on the coast or an island, we define whether the employee travels with the family.
Specialist selection of live-in staff for families, villas and properties in Greece.
Request profilesMaids & Co is an agency specialising in the selection of live-in domestic staff for families and properties in Greece: town residences in Athens, villas on the Athens Riviera and in Porto Heli and seasonal properties on Mykonos, Santorini, Corfu, Crete and in Halkidiki.
In Greece we select live-in staff only, living in the property or in accommodation provided by the family: from traditional household duties to cooking, driving, childcare, personal assistance, maintenance and running a team.
A flat in Kolonaki may need a housekeeper who combines cleaning, laundry and cooking, or a team with a head housekeeper, a chef, a chauffeur, a nanny or a personal assistant. In island villas, summer is nothing like the rest of the year; with homes in Athens and on the coast, we define whether the employee works in one only or travels with the family.

Live-in staff for town residences
Large flats and town residences, from a single housekeeper to a full team. With a villa on the coast or an island, we define whether the employee travels with the family.
Staff for villas and family residences
Villas with gardens where driving matters more and household staff work alongside garden, pool or maintenance teams. We select live-in housekeepers, nannies, chefs, chauffeurs, head housekeepers and domestic couples.
Staff for properties on the Athens Riviera
Seaside flats and villas, used as main homes or for long periods. With guests, boats or other services, we keep the residence staff's duties separate from those of other teams.
Staff for villas and second homes
Villas empty for part of the year and very busy in summer. A domestic couple is well suited to keeping the property up, receiving suppliers and preparing it before each stay.
Live-in staff for seasonal villas
Very marked seasons: in the busiest months, villas need chefs, head housekeepers, household staff, nannies and chauffeurs. If staff stay all year, their off-season duties are defined separately.
Staff for seasonally used properties
Location and access shape how staff are organised. We select independent live-in staff for properties used mainly in particular seasons.
Staff for villas, estates and properties with gardens
Villas, estates and residences with extensive land. We select domestic couples and caretakers, as well as interior staff, when the property needs a steady presence while the family is away.
Staff for coastal villas and country properties
From coastal villas to estates and isolated houses. For the largest, we select couples with rural experience, basic maintenance, driving and supplier management, as well as chefs, household staff and nannies.
Live-in staff for second homes
Villas used mainly in the warmer months. We select live-in staff and couples who prepare the house before the season, look after it with the family in residence and handle closing and supervision.
Lives in the homeThe employee lives in the property or in accommodation provided by the family and works under the agreed terms.
Living in does not mean being available at all hours: duties, hours, rest and accommodation are set out from the start.
It is the right arrangement when the family needs continuity, travels often or the property needs a steady presence.
We select people with English, Greek, Spanish or other languages to suit each household's needs, and assess language as one more professional skill.
We assess both people together, look at how they actually shared the work in previous roles and check their references. A couple can combine interior and cooking with driving, garden, vehicles, maintenance and supervising the property.
In Greece we select couples for main residences, villas and seasonal properties: besides the house, they can look after the pool, the garden and villas that stand empty for months. We check each partner's references separately.

When a candidate has to move from another country, we assess from the outset their documents and whether they can start work in Greece.
Maids & Co handles the search, assessment, interviews and reference checks, and supports the family through the start of the role. The employment relationship is formalised directly between the family and the employee, under the applicable rules.

General guidance, not legal advice: each case is confirmed with the family's adviser or the country's authorities.
The process begins with an analysis of the property, the family, the duties of the role and its terms. The first profiles usually arrive within a few days; the start date depends on travel and, where needed, on permits.
Together with the family we define the profile, the duties, the accommodation and the main requirements of the role.
We search for and interview people with relevant experience and check their track record and references.
We present a shortlist of suitable profiles so that the family can meet them and judge the fit in person.
Once the family has chosen, we support the start of the role and the setting of its terms.
The family pays nothing during the search. Only when the person starts, and if the family is satisfied, is a single fee due: one month of the agreed salary, plus VAT where applicable depending on where the job is. No subscriptions or lock-in.
A single payment, only when the person starts. The exact amount is confirmed in advance.
If you're not satisfied during the first month, we refund 50% of the fee.
Interviews can take place by video or in person. The family covers the travel for the start of the role.
Yes, and also in Athens and its Riviera, Kifisia, Ekali, Santorini, Corfu, Crete and Halkidiki.
No. EU nationals work in Greece without a work permit and register their residence after three months. A non-EU candidate needs a Greek work authorisation; we take this into account from the start.
A domestic couple often works well, keeping the property up, receiving suppliers and preparing it before each stay; with the family in residence, cooking, rooms, laundry, driving and guests are stepped up.
Domestic couplesYes, if it is defined from the start: we agree with the family whether they work only in Athens or travel on certain trips, and with which duties in each home.
Nothing during the search in Greece, from Athens to Mykonos. When the person starts, a single fee is due: one month of the agreed salary, plus VAT where applicable. If you're not satisfied during the first month, we refund 50% of the fee.
