Live-in domestic staff for families and properties in Europe
Maids & Co is an agency specialising in the selection of live-in domestic staff. Outside Spain we select only people who live in the property or in accommodation provided by the family: housekeepers, head housekeepers, butlers, chefs, chauffeurs, nannies, governesses and domestic couples.
Each process begins with an analysis of the family's needs and of the property. We personally interview every candidate, check their references and only present the profiles that fit the role, the languages of the household and what the country requires.
Thirteen countries, the same selection method
We interview and assess the candidates from Spain, present the profiles by video or in person and support the family until the employee starts in the home.

A selection process adapted to each family
The process begins with an analysis of the property, the family, the duties of the role and its terms.
Needs analysis
Together with the family we define the profile, the duties, the accommodation and the main requirements of the role.
Selection and assessment
We search for and interview people with relevant experience and check their track record and references.
Shortlist and interviews
We present a shortlist of suitable profiles so that the family can meet them and judge the fit in person.
Start of the role
Once the family has chosen, we support the start of the role and the setting of its terms.
One-off fee and a 50% refund in the first month
The family pays nothing during the search. Only when the person starts, and if the family is satisfied, is a single fee due: one month of the agreed salary, plus VAT where applicable depending on where the job is. No subscriptions or lock-in.

Interviews and travel
Interviews can take place by video or in person. The family covers the travel for the start of the role.

Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Austria, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Portugal, Greece, Monaco, Luxembourg and Andorra. Outside Spain we select live-in staff only, living in the property or in accommodation provided by the family.

The family, in the country where the home is. Maids & Co selects, presents and supports the start of the role; the employment relationship is formalised directly between the family and the employee, under that country's rules.
Not in EU countries: she works under free movement and registers her residence after three months. Switzerland applies its free movement agreement, with a cantonal permit. The United Kingdom, Monaco and Andorra require an authorisation; each country page explains it.
Nothing is paid during the search. When the person starts, a single fee is due: one month of the agreed salary, plus VAT where applicable. If you're not satisfied during the first month, we refund 50% of the fee.
