Who signs the content
The blog articles, the calculators, the prices page and the comparison guides carry the byline of Isabella Velletri, founder of Maids & Co. Since 2009 she has helped families across Spain hire domestic staff with full legal guarantees.

How we check the figures
Every legal figure we publish (the Spanish minimum wage, the Social Security contribution brackets and bases, the rates, the reductions and rebates, and the deadlines) comes from the law as published in the Boletín Oficial del Estado (BOE), Spain's official gazette. Social Security contributions are calculated the way the Social Security General Treasury (TGSS) calculates them, item by item.
The salary table, the Social Security costs, the calculators and the prices page all use the same figures, last verified on 10 September 2026. Below are the laws they come from, linked to their text in the BOE.

When we update them
We review the figures whenever the law changes: each year's minimum wage (SMI), the annual Social Security contributions order (bases, brackets and rates) or a deadline, such as the one for notifying the TGSS when employment ends. When they change, we update them on every page that uses them, along with each page's “Updated” date.
Blog articles show their publication date and, when they are revised, the date of their last update.
How to request a correction
If you find a figure that is wrong or out of date, write to us at contacto@maidsespana.es telling us the page and the figure. We check it against the law and, if it needs correcting, we correct it and update the page's date.
